About Me


Welcome! I'm Marianne Burkett.


I value quality time with my family, quick weekend getaways, and binge-watching reality tv (my guilty pleasure). I recently became a mom, and that has consumed so much of my time, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Being able to bring a life into the world has been one of my biggest accomplishments thus far.


I've been married to my husband, Justin, for 5 years. He is the love of my life, and I wouldn't be where I am today without him! A job opportunity for him brought us to Northwest Arkansas, and it's been such a fun move for us to experience together. We love the people and the area so much.


While attending school and getting my digital marketing degree, I learned photography to help pay for my education. My passion for it grew as I'd photograph friends' engagements, weddings, and graduations. It's been a great way for me to provide for myself financially. My 9-5 job is as a digital marketer, but when I'm off the clock, I love spending time with my family.

i play 5 instruments


I was almost a music major in college. I grew up playing an array of musical instruments. I fluently play clarinet and alto saxophone and dabble with piano, flute, and trumpet.

I hold high school records in the triple jump


I loved track and field in high school. I competed in the 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles and triple jump. I still hold some school records.

I am adopted


My parents adopted me from China when I was a baby. I didn't grow up learning Chinese in the home, but I went on to study Mandarin in high school and throughout college. I even served a mission for my church in New York where I learned a majority of my Mandarin.
